Ideally, I see myself practicing full scope optometry in a family oriented, suburban or rural community. I began my career as an asoociate in an ophthalmology clinic in Westerville, OH and am now enjoy practicing privately in the rural community of Burney, CA where I strive to provide quality, compassionate service and technologically advanced eye care.
In whichever work situation, I will strive to provide eye care that exceeds my patients' expectations. I am eager to improve efficiency by implementing electronic medical records. I seek to improve patient education using digital photo and video imaging. And, I plan to offer high quality eye wear and lens designs to all of my patients. Though much of my training and expertise is in providing medical optometric care, I particularly enjoy working with children and patients with low vision needs. Due to this interest, I am happy to offer vision therapy and low vision evaluations along with standard contact lens, spectacle and disease management services.
In addition, I strongly feel that as a health professional, I have an obligation to give back to the under-served in my immediate community and other nations. For this reason, I desire to participate in organizations such as Rotary International and VOSH.
